Flower Tour: Clematis on the Arbor

This is a clematis planted last year, to replace one of the Blaze of Glory climbing roses that succumbed to rose cane blight.

How nice to walk through the gate into the backyard with the sweet scent of these roses.

Lighted Arbor

The backyard arbor/gate. The white lights are a permanent installation. I always mean to turn them on during summer evenings, and I always forget! For some reason, it's easy to remember in the winter.
