Purple Iris

I moved all the irises last fall, so I don't have a lot of blooms this year. I will next year, though.

Purplish Blue Iris

A purplish blue iris. This one smells really sweet.

Classic Iris

This the color I think of as "classic" for irises. The irises will be blooming for another week or so.

Purple Iris with Reddish Center

It's iris season. This bloom has water stains from all our recent rain.

Yellow Iris Surprise

This is one of the yellow surprise irises. Purple ones had bloomed for years in this spot, and then last year, some yellow ones showed up. They are super sweet-smelling.

Another Iris Blooms

First, the dark purple ones bloomed, now the light purple ones are putting on a show.

First Iris

The first iris to bloom this year. I never know what's going to show up. Some are purple, some are reddish-purple, I've seen peach, and sometimes, we get yellow ones.
