Garden Scourge

See that nasty little critter chowing down on the center of my Gerber daisy? That's a tobacco budworm, and they invited a multitude of friends to invade my petunias. I ripped them all out, dumped the soil and washed the containers before replanting with garden mums. These worms are hard to shake, and once they move in, not much can be done.

I just saw something like this yesterday--There were several of them in the grass and I "did them in," at least that's my hope. I'll have to look them up and see if that's what they were--THANKS for the info on them!
