Flower Time

Lupine, fuchsia, zinnias gerbera daisies, campanula  and agastache are some of the plants in this collage. The lupine is a lovely surprise. Years ago, I planted pink lupine. Now purple pops up in that space.

Purple! Lupine

I've had pink lupine blooming in my garden for years, so this was a surprise to see. Love it! Can't wait until it fully opens.

Lupine

Strawberries are waking up, too. And my poor rooster. He looks like a chicken because his comb fell off. I'm sure it's hiding somewhere in the strawberries. I intend to glue him back together.

Salute to Miss Rumphius

Lupine in honor of one of my daughter's favorite picture books.

Lupine Blooms

The lupine will bloom several rounds through the summer.

Lupine with Raindrops

Lupine leaves after a rain shower.

Second Crop of Lupine

The second crop of lupine is starting to bloom. The leaves are droopy from all the unusual rain we've seen this past week.

Funny-Looking Lupine

This late-season lupine makes me laugh. I don't know what it's doing with that bunch of leaves sprouting from the top of the flower.

Second Crop of Lupine

A second crop of lupine. I don't remember getting two rounds of blooming last year.
