The same thing happened to us a few days ago, but with a variety of yellow tomato. So much for truth in advertising :)
I've had a hard time keeping the tomatoes upright, too. The new fancy cages will help. The wind has NOT helped.

Lesson learned. I've had these for several years, and although they were sold as delphiniums that wouldn't need to be staked, guess what?
