call me dumb, but potatos have blossoms? I guess I have never seen a potato plant.
When I see the blossoms, it makes more sense that tomatoes and potatoes are plant-cousins.

The potatoes are blooming. Soon, we'll be able to harvest a few "new potatoes" from the base of each plant. The big spuds won't be ready until the plants die back.
